The project involves the establishment of shared facilities for processing and value adding activities for coconut and other products of farm improvement through diversification and intercropping. The set-up for SFP will primarily comprise the building, and processing equipment & machinery. It may also include hauling & transport vehicle/truck, coconut harvesting equipment, basic testing instruments and other ancillary equipment such as but not limited to power lines, transformers, water pumps, piping, fittings, flanges, valves, wastewater treatment and the like, subject to thorough evaluation.
