Program Description
The CFITF Crop Insurance Program shields small coconut farmers (5 hectares or below) from financial losses due to natural disasters, pests, and diseases, while encouraging investment in farm modernization. with PCIC as the sole implementing agency under RA No. 11524.

Who Can Avail?
Note: Farmers registered under RSBSA are not eligible for the same type of insurance to avoid double coverage. However, they may register in RSBSA separately to insure intercrops, livestock, and farm improvements at 100% premium subsidy.
Coconut farmers with not more than 5 hectares of land who are NCFRS-registered
Primary beneficiaries
NCFRS registered coconut farmers (landowners, owner-operators, or tenants with written consent from landowners) in areas prone to natural calamities as identified by PCA
Priority: Landowners and owner-operators
Aged 55 years and above in municipalities with poverty incidence level 3 (41–60%) or level 4 (61–80%), or 4th to 6th class municipalities
