Program Description

The CFITF Scholarship Program (formally CoScho) provides financial assistance to undergraduate students from coconut farming families pursuing higher education with CHED as the sole implementing agency under RA No. 11524.

Eligibility

Who Can Avail?

Qualified and eligible coconut farmers, coconut farm workers, and their dependents/relatives who are currently enrolled or will enroll in PCA-identified degree programs in any HEI with Government Recognition (GR) or Certificate of Program Compliance (COPC) from CHED.
Be an NCFRS-registered coconut farmer OR a qualified dependent/relative of an NCFRS-registered coconut farmer
Meet the qualification requirements set by CHED and PCA (including minimum GWA, regular load requirements)
Be enrolled in a PCA-approved program at a CHED-accredited SUC/HEI
DOCUMENTARY REQUIREMENTS

What To Prepare

Proof of NCFRS registration (as farmer or qualified dependent/relative)
Proof of income
Proof of academic standing (grades/transcript)
Notice of Admission from the HEI (for incoming first-year college students)
Additional requirements as declared by CHED and PCA must also be submitted. CHED evaluates, validates, and generates the list of qualified scholars. Scholars must continuously meet minimum GWA and regular load requirements to maintain the scholarship.

Submit virtual application requirements to the concerned CHED Regional Office (CHEDRO)

Application period and virtual link for submission of application requirements are published on official CHED and PCA websites, social media, and through information caravans and scholarship orientations conducted jointly by CHED and PCA.
